Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement


SAMIKSHA – The International Journal of Management and Technology is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics, academic integrity, transparency, and professional responsibility. The journal follows internationally accepted ethical publishing practices to ensure the quality and credibility of all published research.

The journal expects authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers to adhere to ethical principles throughout the submission, review, publication, and post-publication processes. Ethical misconduct, plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and conflicts of interest are taken seriously and will be dealt with according to internationally accepted publishing standards.

1. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Submit only original and unpublished research work.
  • Ensure that the manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
  • Properly acknowledge the work of other researchers through accurate citations.
  • Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and image manipulation.
  • Disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest.
  • Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research.
  • Promptly notify the editorial office if a significant error is discovered after publication.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

  • Evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit.
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout the editorial process.
  • Ensure a fair, unbiased, and transparent peer-review process.
  • Prevent conflicts of interest during editorial decision-making.
  • Take appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct.
  • Publish corrections, retractions, or clarifications whenever necessary.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Conduct reviews objectively and professionally.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
  • Provide constructive, evidence-based comments.
  • Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
  • Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.
  • Complete reviews within the stipulated review period.

4. Plagiarism Policy

The journal follows a strict plagiarism policy. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review. Manuscripts containing significant plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical use of copyrighted material will be rejected immediately.

5. Peer Review Policy

SAMIKSHA follows a rigorous Double-Blind Peer Review process in which the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential. Editorial decisions are based solely on originality, quality, significance, methodology, and relevance to the journal's scope.

6. Conflict of Interest

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research or editorial decisions. Appropriate measures will be taken to ensure impartiality.

7. Data Integrity

Authors are responsible for maintaining accurate research records and providing original data when requested by the editorial office. Fabricated or manipulated data constitutes serious publication misconduct.

8. Corrections and Retractions

When significant errors or ethical concerns are identified, the journal may publish corrections, expressions of concern, or retract articles in accordance with accepted publishing standards.

9. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain responsibility for the originality of their work. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that they possess the necessary rights to publish all included content and that proper permissions have been obtained where required.

10. Ethical Compliance

Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must comply with applicable institutional, national, and international ethical standards. Authors should indicate approval from the appropriate ethics committee whenever applicable.
